Boston and the Commonwealth are defined by its neighborhoods, its rich history, and the most passionate fans in the world. As we gear up for the FIFA Fan FestivalTM kicking off on June 12th at City Hall Plaza, we are looking for local entertainers, performers, and creators to help us bring the heart of the Commonwealth to life.
The Stage & Performance Experience
We are inviting local talent to take the spotlight on our outdoor festival stage – a unique semi-circle design featuring a 20-foot center-stage depth and an upstage length of 60-foot. To ensure every act sounds its best, a professional-grade PA system and on-site sound engineer will be provided. Please note the stage features standard flooring (no Marley), and we encourage performers to arrive “stage-ready” as shared changing space is limited. We are currently seeking high-energy sets ranging from 10 to 60 minutes in length. To support our local creative community, selected groups will be provided a stipend for their performance.
The Selection Process
We are committed to building a festival that reflects the true diversity of our area. To ensure our programming is inclusive and representative of all voices, all submissions will be evaluated by an independent Community Review Committee. This group is composed of local leaders dedicated to creating a vibrant, welcoming, and diverse experience for every fan.
Key Dates to Remember:
Application Window:April 24th through 11:59 PM ET on May 8th.
Review Period: Our committee will spend two weeks carefully reviewing every performance reel and proposal.
Notification: Selected performers will be contacted via email during the week of May 25th.
