ALLOW PLENTY OF TIME FOR TRAVEL TO THE STADIUM
Ticketholders are strongly encouraged to allow themselves plenty of time when traveling near the stadium on match days. NOTE: Several matches will coincide with weekday commuter traffic, so please plan accordingly. Traffic restrictions will be in place on local roads before and after each match. Ticketholders who use local roads will experience delays in arrival time due to road closures that may not be captured by traffic and navigation apps. Fans must use I-95, I-495 or Route 140 to access Route 1 and the stadium.
PARKING
Parking lots will open four (4) hours before kickoff for each match. All general fan parking for the FIFA World Cup matches will be located on the opposite side of Route 1 from the stadium and parking passes must be booked in advance here. Oversize vehicle parking and accessible vehicle parking are also available and must be booked in advance. Tailgating will be permitted like any other stadium event. Only fans with a booked parking pass and corresponding same-day match tickets will be able to access and park in stadium lots on match days.
BOSTON STADIUM TRAINS
MBTA is providing round-trip, special event train service from Boston to the newly improved Foxboro Station (Stadium is adjacent to the Boston Stadium) for each match. Train service will operate express from Boston’s South Station (making no other stops) to Foxboro Station. Round-trip tickets are $80 and are on sale now for the five Group Stage matches exclusively via the mTicket app. Train tickets for Round of 32 and Quarter-Final matches will go on sale closer to the match dates. Tickets for each special event train will be sold separately and need to be purchased for the correct corresponding match. Please note: These are the only trains to and from the matches. There will not be regular weekday Commuter Rail service to Foxboro Station on match days.
The Boston Stadium train ticket is also good for unlimited travel across the entire Commuter Rail network on the day of the Match – throughout any Zone or Interzone where MBTA Commuter Rail trains travel. This expanded access across the Commuter Rail network allows soccer fans more flexibility and options in choosing where to stay to attend FIFA World Cup 2026™ matches.
Regular Foxboro Station weekday Commuter Rail service will continue to operate normally on non-match days.
Tickets can only be purchased by fans with a corresponding same-day match ticket and must be purchased prior to boarding the event trains. All passengers, including children 11 and under, must have both a special event train ticket and a corresponding same-day match ticket to board the trains. These are special event trains and ticket sales will be stopped once the maximum capacity is reached. Regular Commuter Rail tickets and passes are not valid for special event trains. Any prohibited items at the stadium, including bags that do not comply with the stadium’s Clear Bag Policy, will not be permitted on the trains. Additionally, no personal items may be left on the trains during the matches. For train schedules and more information on special event train service to the matches, visit www.mbta.com/worldcup.

Please note there are no private vehicle drop-off or pick-up areas available at the stadium for these matches.
ENTRANCES
Gates will open three (3) hours before kickoff for each match. Ticketholders are encouraged to arrive at the stadium when gates open to enjoy the atmosphere and match day festivities.
CLEAR BAG POLICY IN EFFECT
Fans attending the matches are reminded that bags larger than a small wristlet or handheld wallet will not be allowed inside the stadium, per FIFA’s clear bag policy, which is in effect at all ticketed events. If carrying a bag into the stadium is necessary, there are three options: a one-gallon, clear plastic bag that does not exceed 11” x 11’, a clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag that does not exceed 12” x 12” x 6,” or a small wristlet or handheld wallet, with or without a handle or strap, that does not exceed 6.5” x 4.5”. Please note that bags larger than the permitted size, including purses, shoulder bags and backpacks, will not be allowed inside the stadium and will not be held or stored by the venue.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
All items brought into Boston Stadium are subject to inspection. Per FIFA, prohibited items for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ include, but are not limited to: GoPro/video cameras, any type of mounts for photo and video equipment, strollers, backpacks, lasers, umbrellas, outside food and beverage, balloons and other inflatable items, sports equipment, noisemakers and any items deemed dangerous and/or inappropriate by stadium management. A full list of prohibited items for the FIFA World Cup 2026™ can be found here.
TICKETING
The Ticket Office is located within the plaza at the north end of the stadium. There will also be a ticket resolution point located on the west side of the stadium. Both the Ticket Office and ticket resolution point will be open on match days only and will open with parking lots each match day. Officials strongly encourage guests to download their mobile tickets prior to arriving at the stadium gates to beat busy network connections and for ease of entry into the venue. Officials remind fans that all tickets purchased through secondary markets are at risk of being invalid, counterfeit tickets. If fans are not purchasing tickets through an authorized seller, they should ensure they are purchasing tickets via a website/person(s) they trust. The Ticket Office is unable to confirm the validity of tickets prior to entry into the stadium on the specific match date. FIFA.com/tickets is the official and preferred source for FIFA World Cup 2026™ tickets.
CASHLESS VENUE
The stadium is completely cashless. All fan points of sale now accept electronic payment only including debit and credit cards, wallet or watch.
